What this platform is for

Apparel Diary is a knowledge platform for people who run apparel and textile manufacturing operations. It covers industrial engineering, operations research, and analytics as applied to garment and textile production line balancing, capacity planning, quality systems, forecasting plus articles on the wider industrial context those operations sit inside: equipment, safety, and supply chain

The editorial standard is simple. An article should be specific enough that a practitioner can act on it the same week, and honest enough to say where a method stops working.

How content gets published

Anyone can register and submit an article through the guest portal. Submissions enter a moderation queue where an editor either approves them, requests changes with a written note, or rejects them. Approved articles are published with full attribution to the author, who keeps a permanent profile page on the site.

Who writes here

Contributors are working engineers, analysts, planners and managers. We prefer a well-argued piece from someone who has actually run the process over a polished piece from someone who has only read about it.
