Before you submit
Read two or three published articles in your chosen topic first. The house style is direct, technical and free of marketing language.
What we look for
- A working method. Formulas, tables, worked numbers and step-by-step procedures beat general advice.
- Honest limits. Say what assumptions the method depends on and when it fails.
- Original material. Do not submit content published elsewhere, and do not submit machine-generated text you have not verified.
- Length. Most accepted articles run 900 to 2,000 words. Shorter is fine if it is complete.
Formatting
- Use H2 for main sections and H3 for sub-sections. The table of contents is built from these automatically.
- Tables are welcome for parameter comparisons and sampling plans.
- Code blocks are welcome for model formulations, SQL and calculation scripts.
- Add 3 to 8 tags. Tags are how readers find neighbouring material.
Review outcomes
Every submission ends in one of three states: Approved and queued for publication, Changes requested with a specific editorial note, or Rejected with a reason. You can track all of it from your submission dashboard.
